NEWMOD 2010 Announced!

Newbury Scale Model Club is pleased to announce, that we have got a venue and a date set for our very first Model/Hobby Show!
It will be held at Greenham Common Airbase (as was). More precisely within the Liberty Ball Room’s Sports Hall (which used to be the US Air Forces Gymnasium until the base closed.
The date is set for Sunday 28th March 2010.
- Excellent access for traders.
- More than ample parking for everyone else.
- A licensed Bar.
- Hot and Cold snacks.
- Hot drinks cold soft drinks etc.
- Eating area.
- Competition area.
More details will be added as we move closer to the event.
For those wishing to stroll around outside you may be able to visit the old runway and some of the now converted hangers etc. There is stacks of Nostalgia here.
For now all interested Clubs, Traders, individuals etc wishing to attend, please contact nsmcsecretary@googlemail.com for regular updates.

Hi, Saw your stand at Newbury (R.berks) show. Does anyone know if there is a Blackburn Beverley scale model kit available, Please???? Bob H.

I remember speaking to someone at the Newbury Show, and I guess it must have been you, thanks for coming onto the site and asking a question.
