    Hi Steve,

I understand you have made contact with my wife on Facebook. Unfortunately she builds very few models, but has a possible interest in figure painting, especially flats. As far as feedback is concerned modesty forbids her commenting on your work! I do not use Facebook myself due to the secure nature of my work, however I am happy to chat via the forum on the site or via email.
With regard to my bases, I get them from a chap called Dave Armstrong, of Armstrong bases. He used to do a lot of shows and I used to stock up when I saw him, but I believe he has stopped doing the show circuit and is now just working from home. You can get him on 07940524569, or armstrong_bases@hotmail.com. Mention me if you get in touch with him. he is a good guy and deserves looking after with good custom.

Hi ian I it never occured to me that alison was your mrs and i hope theres no offence all I saw was some photos of several people including a major bloodnock what i thought was a model makers club who are interested in model making I have tried for years to get my daughter interested in the hobby to no avail. Looking at some of your work has made me have a rethink on how to improve my own specaily the tank and U-Boat I look forward to chatting to you soon Steve Sheffield

The Club secretary, i.e me, is Major Bloodnock, its a long story, but has a lot to do with my love of the Goon Show, and a miss spent youth.
Welcome to Newbury Scale Model Club Steve.

    Regards
