Steve,

I'm sorry I haven't answered your e-mail before, I'm still finding my way around this site. The base is an old picture frame which gives a nice gold effect surround. The terrain was built up from pieces of foam or display board (bought locally in a 'HobbyCraft' shop I think it's about £10 for 5 A4 size sheets) and layered until I was satisfied with the height either side of the road section. Over this I used ordinary decorator's caulk bought from B&Q and worked it to shape while still wet. The tree and dead branches were from the root of a shrub in the garden.

Hope this helps and look forward to meeting you some time.

Hi Steve, thanks for the update! I hope the new job is going well.

I'll drop you a mail shortly about the best way to get photos onto the site, but basically I'll alter you site settings so you can load directly into your gallery.

As to what to build next, I'd suggest go with whatever you want! That said, the Tiger with interior sounds like it could be a great model :)

All the best,
Ian

Its been a while since I have done any model making thats been down to me settling into a new job and helping my friend with his house.

I have got a few models awaiting construction so I will make a start tomorrow I will send you pictures of the builds the models are Tamiya.

Panther 1/35 Academy tiger 1 early 1/35 with interior or if you want to make a suggestion on what type of model to make because most armour and aircraft have been done I think I have most of my model pics on file so I'll send them through via e-mail or on a disc
